Interactive Learning Websites for Kids

There are a lot of online resources to help children learn and reinforce what is being taught in preschool.  Here are just a few of my favorite places to visit.  Most of these sites are easy for kids to navigate themselves, thus fostering independent learning.

Kids can learn all about letters, sounds, numbers, colors, shapes, days of the week and more!

Games and activities include: alphabetical order, upper-case and lower-case letters, counting numbers, connect the dots, numerical order, shapes, addition, e-storybooks and holiday games.

Educational games, videos and activities ... (I'm not gonna lie - my kids probably watch more videos on this website than others, but for the most part they're educational!).

Another great, interactive website full of online games and worksheets for kids. Students learn to read with phonics, build skills in math, language, social studies, science and much more!

Count Us In

This is a very simple website designed to help children understand basic number concepts.

Although we don't practice typing in preschool it's never too early to start.  This is a free, kid-friendly website that teaches typing.  You'll have to listen carefully though because the interactive voice has a British/United Kingdom accent (which I think is so fun :)).

Enjoy!
