N is for Napping

This week we learned about the letter "Nn!"
For Show-&-Tell Brennan brought a Numbers book, Connor brought a Notebook,
Charlotte showed us some Noodles and Abi made a Noodle Necklace!

Here's Charlotte, Taylee and Connor writing their letter N's.

Our Theme was Cultures/Olympics ... so we decided to travel around the world, but in order to do so we all had to have our own passports!  Here's a picture of Abi filling hers out and of all the preschoolers showing theirs off.

To learn about places and people around the world we read a fun story called, "Grandma's Suitcase."  Inside of our suitcase were things from around the world that the preschoolers had to pick-out, find the country on the globe and finally color their passports in for each location.

Here's Connor showing us the Eiffel Tower from France, and Taylee pointing to Russia where she found a Nesting doll.  Some other items included in Grandma's suitcase were coins from South America, a Chinese lantern, a polar bear from Antartica and clothing from Africa.

We also played a matching game with famous landmarks from around the world.

Here are some of the Olympic Game that we played ... ice-skating with paper plates on our feet, throwing bean bags into a laundry basket, and bob sledding down our roller coaster!  We learned about the ordinal numbers of 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Here's Charlotte with her Gold Medal that she won!

This coming week we'll be learning about community helpers and have a chance to visit Krispy Kreme!  Please let me know if you'll be coming on our fieldtrip.  See you again soon!
